Ivona ŠIMUNOVIĆ

Biography

Ivona Šimunović was born in Dubrovnik where she graduated from the Art School Luka Sorkočević (Painting and Design Departement). She further graduated from the Academy of Fine Arts Zagreb, in the class of Professor Zlatko Kauzlarić Atač.
Apart from Painting, she is also engaged in pedagogical work. She has been working as an Art class teacher in schoola and she led numerous art workshops for children and adults. She has been a member of the Croatian Society of Fine Artists since 2006. She has exhibited in solo and group exhibitions in Dubrovnik, Pag, Lopud and in the Vizura Aperta project on Pelješac. Since 2020, she has been working as a museum pedagogue at the Museum of Modern Art Dubrovnik. She lives and works in Dubrovnik.
Her collections can be found in numerous private collection in Croatia, France, United Kingdom, India and Australia.
