Ljiljana Mihaljević is an academic painterand a multimedia artist. She graduated fromAccademia di Belle Arti, University of Florence, Italy.She is a member of the Croatian Society of Fine Artists andCroatian Community of Independent Artists. She works as an independent artist and an art columnist based in Zagreb and Florence.
She resided in study and residency programs in New York, Paris, Berlin, Leipzig.
She represented Croatian video art at the Festival of Croatian Culture in France, “Croatie, la voice” (2013).
She represented Croatia at the International Contemporary Art Fair Huntenkunst in the Netherlands, selected by the Croatian – Dutch Jury (2010).
She is a finalist of the Josip Racic Award for Best Exhibition (2010).
She was the recipient of the “Gaetano Moresi” redemption prize for the best young Italian artist in the Italian Academy of Fine Arts (2003).
